Emails To The Billmans

 Dear Church,

Lauren Billman, daughter of Brad & Vicki Billman, was very seriously injured Thursday evening, April 11th.  She remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.  Below is a note from Vickie that updates her condition.  Here are some emails of support to Lauren and her family.  The church has set up this special web site and an email address for you to post messages for the Billman family: billmans@phbc.org.  Regrettably, not all messages can be posted, however, all messages will get to the family.  Click here to return to the updates.  The family has a meeting room on the 2nd floor near the ICU waiting area on the 2nd floor at Parkland Hospital.  In addition, a hotline has been established at Trinity Christian Academy: 972-931-8325 ext 645.

EMAILS POSTED TO THE SITE

Dear Lauren, Brad, Vicki, and Brett,

We are so sorry for the horrible accident and for what you are going through.
We are praying for you constantly. We pray that Lauren will have no memory
of what happened so she will not be traumatized, but especially for her
step-by-step healing. Recently my mother died unexpectedly, and I spent 6
hours in the ER watching it happen, so I know how shocking and horrible it is
to watched a loved one suffer, and how sometimes you have few words with
which to talk to God. But know that others are interceding in your behalf,
and that God will and does provide the grace to get you through it, somehow.
God will be with you even when you don't feel Him. You are loved and are in
our thoughts and prayers,

The Montgomery Family - Tom, Debbie, Stuart, and Leslie

Brad and Vicki:

Just wanted you to know that Louise and I and the entire Zimmer SS Class are
lifting you up in prayer. Our God is mighty and loving.

Dear Billmans...

We are neighbors of yours in Steeplechase and heard about Lauren through our friend , Belinda Dennis. Pastor Sam also spoke of you in church today. Even our 8 and 10 year old came home talking about Lauren from their Sunday class. You were in our prayers at dinner tonight, and will continue to be so.

Our hearts go out to you. We hope for the very, very best.

Dear Brad and Vicki,

I love you both so much. Be rest assured that there are now hundreds of people here in Waco praying for Lauren, and for her recovery after being involved in such a traumatic accident. We will also be praying for the both of you during this time, and that God would give you the strength that you need and the courage that is required to be Parents at a time like this.

I would also like to take a second to let you guys to know how incredible you are and how important you have both become, in my life. I'm nearly a thousand miles away from family, but a mere phone call away from you. It's not quite family, but I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in the world. Thanks for always being there. I'm here for you if you ever need anything. Just name the time and the place... and I'll come running.

I love you both!

In HIS Steps,

Jason LeFevers

I set my alarm for 1:30 to pray for Lauren. I have specifically prayed for her, for you and Brad, Brett, and the doctors. It has been my privilege. "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him." I am praying you feel His strength and that you continue to see His Hand in everything. I will continue to pray...

Brad and Vicki,
I was in North Carolina when I heard about Lauren's accident and from the moment I heard until now I have been praying... and I will continue to pray. I love Lauren with all of my heart and I know she is a strong girl, I believe she can get through this. You all are in the thoughts and prayers of me and my whole family, we love you all.
       Love,

Dear Vicki and Brad.....

You don't know me, but I am a member of the Looney class at Parkway Hills and one of the Senior to Senior Participants. My Husband and I met Lauren last Sunday at the lunch. Just want you to know that we are praying along with all the others for her complete recovery and praying for you all. Years ago our son hit a tree while skiing in Colorado and we had the call that he was on life support and was being flown into Denver. He is fine now, but I know a little about what you all are going through. Just know that we care and we will keep up with her progress at the website.

Love in Him,

Betty and Wayne Caldwell
